Volunteering at the Hospice
Be part of the Hospice’s thousand-year-old tradition of hospitality by becoming a volunteer, employee or community service worker.
Serving the residents of the Hospice
There are various ways you can get involved at the Hospice du Grand-Saint-Bernard: helping out in the hospice’s daily running — available all year round — (serving meals, tidying rooms, cleaning, etc.), or, during the summer, working at reception.

Dedicated to hospitality
The Hospice community is grateful to be supported in its mission to welcome guests by volunteers, both in summer and winter. The volunteering period is normally for a minimum of one month.
For the winter of 2025–2026, our team is fully staffed. However, for the summer of 2026 (May–October), we still have places available.
Volunteers help with welcoming guests, serving meals, cleaning and assisting in the kitchen. Other tasks may occasionally be assigned depending on the skills required.
Board and lodging are provided by the Hospice.
The religious community’s life of prayer offers a daily rhythm of renewal for those who wish to participate.
